I have been reading many posts on reddit and facebook of people asking for help in how to start using AI for Art generation. There is also a lot of confusion and misinformation out there. So the goal of this page is not only to provide you a solid start in world of AI Art Generation but also to guide you through some very basic concepts. If you are a newbie you are in the right place.

Although we will be talking about AI Art generation in general in this page, our focus is on diffusion algorithms. One of the most popular diffusion algorithm out there is the Stable Diffusion.

It is a breakthrough in speed and quality meaning that it can run on consumer GPUs…This will allow both researchers and…the public to run this under a range of conditions, democratising image generation. If you don’t have the required hardware for running it locally but you want to experiment with the code, you run Stable Diffusion using Google Colab:

MidJourney

MidJourney is one of the best commercial AI art generators currently available and one of my favourites. The resulting arts from MidJourney will definitely blow your mind – they’re not only unique but some of them are really breathtaking.

Although MidJourney offers a ton of options for AI art generation, it is still very easy to use, being suitable for beginners. After installing Discord and reading the beginners guide you should be able to create your first AI art in about 5 minutes.
