This post is part of our HOW TO START tutorial series on Stable Diffusion. In this post we will have a look at some of the existing Web Clients out there. Web Clients are very useful if you are new to Stable Diffusion and you don’t have the necessary hardware to run it locally. Please note the most of the services mentioned here will charge a fee based on a credit system for generating images. All of them will offer you some free credits to play and test the features. We do not work with any of the mentioned services and just link them here for your information.

Even though Dream Studio is the most famous Web Client for Stable Diffusion, we will start with the free services and then have a look at the credit based systems. I will try to rank the services that offer the most features.

Free Web Clients

Playground AI

Playground AI is a very powerful and a still free (as of October 2022 ⚠️) Web Client for Stable Diffusion. Currently it supports the latest features like txt-to-img, img-to-img, inpainting mask, face enhancement and upscaling. Playground AI offers a very easy to use user interface and some cool community features.

A very cool feature offered by Playground AI is the “Filter” option. When you apply a filter like “Wasteland” for example, following keywords are added to you prompt isometric, digital art, smog, pollution, toxic waste, chimneys and railroads, 3 d render, octane render, volumetrics, by greg rutkowski. This is a very good way to experiment with different styles and get inspired.

Stable Horde Web

Generate images using the Stable Diffusion AI fast and for free! Stable Horde uses shared GPU to provide crowdsourced image generation for everyone, without technical requirements or hidden costs. It provides a user friendly interface with support to all SD parameters. Currently it supports only the txt-to-img feature. Generated images are saved in the web gallery.

The power behind this tool is crowdsourced on volunteer GPUs which are sharing their power for everyone using the horde. NSFW filter can be disabled.

Very basic and free web AI image generator powered by Stable Diffusion. It offers no parameters in the free version, only in the premium API.

Neural.love offers a very basic and free web AI image generator powered by Stable Diffusion. It offers only the possibility to change the aspect ratio in the free version. Neural.love offers a lot of cool features that will cost credits to use.

Dream Studio is the official and supported Web App from Stability AI, the company behind Stable Diffusion. Currently it supports the latest features like txt-to-img, img-to-img and inpainting mask. Being the company behind Stable Diffusion, Dream Studio supports the latest Stable Diffusion version before making it available to the public.
